Today we’re talking to Susan Ryan. Susan is the Senior Director of an American not-for-profit called The Green House Project, which proposes an alternative model to traditional care facilities - one that looks and feels like a real home.
We talk to Susan about the ideas and principles that underpin this model, and what it looks like in a practical sense to operate care facilities that only accommodate a handful of people.
It's a really interesting conversation, to reimagine the way the care could look and feel if we challenged some of the current core assumptions.
