Severe thunderstorms and torrential downpours capable of producing flash flooding will both repeat and jump around from day to day over the central United States through the remainder of this week. also, an area from the southern Atlantic coast to the northeast Gulf is being watched closely for tropical development around the middle of July, similar to where Chantal developed earlier in the month.
