Describe the furniture in your house. Please say: What does it look like? Is it traditional or modern? What material is it made of? And say how you feel about it. OK. As you know, I am a student and I actually don't live with my parents, but I live on my own, so what I have decided to talk about today is the furniture in my current apartment where I live alone. I have to say that I really love the furniture in my home perhaps because it is the first time that I have selected (uh) what I buy, without having to cater to someone else's wishes or make any compromises regarding the style or colours used. So I feel that the décor in my apartment accurately represents my tastes and, in a sense, who I am. It's rather modern and in that I mean that it has a minimal, European aesthetic with very clean lines, simple finishes and no extra detail. I guess some people would describe it as Scandinavian. The colour scheme that I have decided on is full of rich browns, beiges and blues which contrast nicely with the light coloured wood of the tables and desks. I think the biggest piece in my apartment is my sofa, which is a corner sofa. I purchased it large enough so that friends can come to watch movies at my place and comfortable enough for my parents to sleep on when they visit. So I am really very fond of the furniture in my home. It's light, modern, practical and overall very representative of me and my style. Thank you. What do your friends think of your furniture? My friends always comment that my apartment has been decorated in good taste and of all our homes we always seem to gather at mine so I take that as evidence that they like it. Thank you.
