This evening I am sat with David Ainsworth, Executive Chairman of CO-RE London, best known for its focus on high-quality commercial development. Developers for the former ITV studios on the South Bank, Landsdowne House Berkeley Sq and 20 Ropemaker Place. David was one of three founding partners for CO-RE which stands for City Office Real Estate.
In our discussion, David opens up about the earliest parts of his career, including feeling out of sorts in the agency world, feeling much more at home in the development space as well as his thoughts on the traits of a great developer. David, a former President of the City Property Association, a renowned pillar of commercial development in London YET confesses to still having occasional imposter syndrome as the young lad from the NE.
