Iran says renewed threats by US President Donald Trump are “unbalanced and foolish". Mr Trump says his latest deadline for a deal to open the Strait of Hormuz is fast approaching, posting on social media they have "48 hours before all hell will rain down on them". Iranian military officials have responded saying "the doors of hell will be opened to you" if the country's infrastructure is attacked. It comes as the U-S continues to search for a missing aviator after an F-15 fighter jet was shot down over Iran. Food charity OzHarvest says fuel costs are creating a "perfect storm" of factors putting additional stress on households. The halving of the fuel excise came into effect last week and the federal government says supply pressures are easing, but prices remain high across the country. OzHarvest's Damian Scanlon says families are increasingly being forced to make difficult decisions.
