Hundreds of service stations have run out of fuel across the country, as Australians hit the road this Easter long weekend. Energy Minister Chris Bown says 410 stations are out of diesel and another 145 stations are out of unleaded petrol. But he says 53 ships carrying fuel are on their way to Australia from refineries in Asia, the United States and Mexico, and are expected to arrive this month. There's little sign of the war in the Middle East winding down as Israel, Kuwait and Bahrain all report coming under missile and drone attack from Iran. The strikes come as Iran says eight people were killed and dozens injured near a major bridge hit by the US. In a social media post, US President Donald Trump has continued to claim the threat from Iran is nearly eliminated, and says electric power plants will be next. Australians will still be bombarded with gambling advertising, an independent federal MP says. As part of a long awaited response to a report on gambling harm, the government plans to cap the number of gambling ads on daytime TV. Independent M-P Kate Chaney says partial bans don't work. The Artemis II mission has completed a critical engine burn planned to take the Orion spacecraft on its journey out of Earth's orbit and to the far side of the Moon. The trans-lunar burn lasted for just under six minutes. It follows the successful launch of the historic mission just over a day ago.
