Show Notes

Well folks, it's March and what better way to get ready for the best month on the calendar than with a Monday edition of the Aaron Torres Pod! Aaron talks about the big storylines from the weekend before welcoming on ESPN's Dave Pasch for a fun, 45-minute sit-down. Here is a rundown of today's show:

UCLA, Kentucky and the rest of college hoops: After Aaron discussed UCLA briefly last episode, he opens the show by discussing the incredible job Mick Cronin has done to get UCLA to first place in the Pac-12 and why its one of the best coaching jobs he's ever seen in college basketball (5:00). Then he transitions to Kentucky, where, after the Wildcats clinched an SEC regular season title, he believes it might be the best coaching job of John Calipari's time at Kentucky as well (22:00). Finally he wraps by playing "Where Aaron Was Right, Where Aaron Was Wrong" discussing another Duke loss, Michigan State's sudden improvement and why he might have been wrong about Steve Alford at Nevada after all (31:00)

ESPN's Dave Pasch Joins the Show: Next up, ESPN's Dave Pasch joins Aaron for a fun, 40-minute sitdown with Aaron (43:00). The guys discuss Pasch's relationship with Bill Walton -- what's real, what's fake, and what's the craziest thing Walton has ever done? He then discusses his rise at ESPN, calling the "Great Outdoor Games" with Jimmy Dykes and his days calling games at Syracuse amongst drunk fans in the stands.

Last, but not least, Aaron wraps with a special "Shoutout of the Day."
