Show Notes

It's Thursday and you know what that means: An all new Aaron Torres Podcast. Aaron discusses Coach K trying to cancel college hoops, Ohio State being allowed into the Big Ten title game, and a bizarre LSU season ending with a bowl ban. Here's a rundown of the show:

Coach K tries to cancel college hoops: Aaron opens the show with the story of the day on Wednesday, Coach K trying to cancel the college basketball season (3:30). He explains why it makes no sense, and why if Coach K really cared about his player's mental and physical health he would be pushing to continue to play season. If Coach K doesn't want to coach this season, that's fine. But he shouldn't ruin for the rest of us.

College football lookahead:
Finally, Aaron discusses the two big topics of the day in college football. He explains why the Big Ten did the right thing by letting Ohio State into the conference title game (25:30) and discusses LSU self-imposing a bowl ban (35:00). After this disastrous season, it is looking more and more like LSU struck lightning in a bottle a season ago, that they were a one-year wonder and not built to compete for the SEC championship regularly under Coach O.
