Australian-British bestselling author Kathy Lette talks “chick lit”, motherhood and why it benefits men to do more housework, with Julia Gillard. An outspoken comic writer and pioneering voice in contemporary feminism, Lette talks about her role as a writer to lift up readers, dealing with life’s difficulties - including all the issues women face, in a humorous, confessional style which draws on her and her friends' lived experiences.

Earnings from the podcast will go back into funding for the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership, furthering the work they do to create a world in which being a woman is no barrier to being a leader.
