Mindfulness is about focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.

Puddicombe, former Buddhist monk and founder of Headspace, has arguably done more than anyone to popularise mindfulness. 

He speaks about how the technique directly applies to sport, but he also goes deep into the ultimate aim of meditation; to achieve enlightenment and reveal 'non-duality'.
