On the cross, God treated Jesus as if He had lived your life, so He could treat you as if you had lived His life. Jesus took our sins, and gave us His righteousness. Pastor Greg Laurie says Jesus rose again for our justification. This is our assurance of acceptance by God. We’re accepted by God, and loved by God. He’s not mad at you; God’s mad about you.
