Mary realised Jesus was coming to die on the cross, and she wanted to do something for Him to show her love. She demonstrated her love in an extravagant way and many were surprised. Pastor Greg Laurie believes she actually set a very good example. He says, the more we discover what Jesus has actually done for us, the more we will want to do more for Him. The Bible calls us to 'love Him because He first loved us'.
