On Season 9 Episode 7 of A Little Birdie Told Me, host Rebecca Horan talks to Susan Collins. On This final episode in Season 9 Susan charts her cancer battle with Rebecca. Susan, otherwise known as SusansNextChapter on Instagram is a wife and mother of three and has faced the toughest battle of her life. Susan was diagnosed with bowel cancer over a year ago after being misdiagnosed with an appendix problem, she was in pain and knew there was something more sinister going on and like many women advocated for further investigations. Susan was fitted with a stoma bag and has since undergone surgery and chemotherapy, more recently Susan has been told her cancer is at stage 4 and that she will not be having a stoma reversal as she had hoped. At this point in her illness Susan wants to bring to light the difficulties surrounding bowel cancer and the lack of awareness. Susan also shares her gastric bypass journey with Rebecca, where she went from 19 stone to 10 and she talks about her happy family life and incredible support from her husband. Hosted on Acast. Sinead curates fashion and beauty Instagram page, The Beaut Truth, where she creates content for her 100,000 plus followers. Sinead is a teacher and married with two children. Alana started her career as a dancer in Dublin, after a stint in a college course she didn’t enjoy she moved to London, slowly working her way up to a globally recognised stage show, however, her world changed on a dime when the show got cancelled before the US tour and she got unexpected news from home. Alana returned to Dublin in time to say goodbye to her ill aunt and from there her life changed. Alana then met her now husband Ryan and when an opportunity came about to open a fitness studio in Dublin they went for it.
