His freedom is already narrowed as hotel staff take part in his control too. The rules multiply to exact maximum submission — physical, psychological, and financial. Before he even meets Master Knox, he’s tested: stretched, filmed, exposed, and pushed to see how far he’ll go when the commands don’t come directly from Knox himself.
