Show Notes

Hosts and PTSI Resilience Trainers John Salerno and Samantha Horwitz talk with Chris Michael and Steven Hullander from Creed of Ink on @A Badge of Honor TV.

The Creed of Ink provides therapeutic tattoo sessions for Veterans and First Responders.

When a Veteran or First Responder in crisis is identified, an appointment is scheduled when the shop is closed ensuring confidentiality. An appropriate Peer is on hand throughout the appointment. A Peer is someone with training in providing Peer Support as well as similar job-related experience. We ensure that we have the right, pre-screened Peer on hand. A Police Officer may have all of the training and road experience in the world but if it is a Combat Veteran in the chair, they need a Combat Veteran Peer. The same holds true the other way.

The individual then works with the artist to develop the tattoo design they seek to help process their trauma. Find out more at https://www.thecreedofink.org/
