Hosts and PTSI Resilience Trainers John Salerno and Samantha Horwitz talk with Chris Sowell, US Army Veteran & Executive Director of Warrior Wellness on @A Badge of Honor TV.
Chris spent 15 years in the United States Army, 11 of those as a Fire Support Specialist. Chris deployed to Kosovo in 2001 and during the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003 with the 3rd Infantry Division. Chris deployed to Afghanistan in 2004-2005 with the 25th Infantry Division. After the Army, Chris went on to work for the FBI Terrorist Screening Center as an Intelligence Analyst.
Chris then moved on to the Warrior Wellness Program. As the Executive Director, Chris brings his experiences to Warrior Wellness and helps other combat veterans overcome trauma and transition back into civilian life.
Warrior Wellness' mission is to provide an opportunity for healing for those affected by the traumas of war. Their goal is to create a healthy, connected and resilient veteran population by fostering a community of healing.
