As the Chief of Police in Palestine and Pharr, he introduced the Mental Health Unit, the Chief's Clergy Coalition, the Social Contract, and other initiatives that fostered collaboration, trust, and accountability among law enforcement and the public. He also held various commanding roles in the Dallas Police Department and the Air Force, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and received numerous honors and awards.
