As an adjunct professor in Fire Technology at Santa Ana College, Michelle is dedicated to bringing forward technologies that help heal like HeartMath and Soar 2 Resilience. Rob and SWEL provide first responders, veterans, and active duty personnel fighting PTSD, with free weekend-long beach trips, where they learn how to use surfing as a form of therapeutic sport to disconnect from their high-vigilant and risky jobs. Each trip allows participants to decompress, connect with others who understand their experiences, and be reinvigorated.
