Destiny is a sweet, beautiful girl who was returned to us after not getting along with the resident cat, and she is looking for a cat/small animal free home. She would do best in a quiet home, but with someone who is willing to get her some good exercise, as she is still young and very active. Destiny is uncomfortable and nervous with new people when she first meets them, but slowly opens up, and will gently ask for love and attention once she starts trusting you. She needs someone willing to give her this time, and to keep up with her exercise and training so she can blossom. She is willing to meet a new dog friend, but this introduction too might take some time. Destiny is a good listener and very loyal when she gets to know you. She finds a favorite toy and sticks with it! Her current favorite is an orange and blue rubber bone. She sits when asked and is great on a leash. She’s doing well learning not to react to other dogs she sees, but will need consistent work on that. Add a little canned food to her bowl and she’ll be your best friend. She loves soft, jerky-like treats, especially if they smell like bacon! Destiny is a little under 3 years old and is 42 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.
