A woman has died in a deliberately lit unit fire in Norlane, Geelong, with two men now in police custody. Fire crews called to Thompson Road just after 3am found the woman unresponsive inside, but despite efforts to save her, she could not be revived. Neighbours reported ongoing issues with a local man seen fleeing the scene, describing how they had been living in fear with some sleeping with weapons for protection.
