Donald Trump has issued a deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face destruction of its power plants and bridges. The U.S. president threatened to decimate every bridge and power plant in Iran by a specific deadline, whilst criticising allies including Australia for not supporting U.S. military action. Trump suggested diplomatic negotiations remain possible despite the severe threats against Iranian infrastructure.
