President Trump has reportedly discussed withdrawing from NATO, the key treaty that has been a pillar of Western security for decades. The NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is in Washington for talks with the US administration following Trump's tweet criticising NATO's absence when needed and referencing Greenland. Despite pressure from Trump, no European partners have contributed troops to the war on Iran.
