Anthony Monteleone, a 47-year-old Sydney man, is facing trial for allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend in a gym car park in 2024. A police interview has been released showing Monteleone admitting to injuring the victim around the neck region, though he handed himself into police and claims he never intended to cause harm. He has pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent to murder.
