Penrith Beach, known locally as 'Pondi', will extend its opening hours by two hours each day over the Easter long weekend in Western Sydney. Easter Saturday will feature free ice creams for early arrivals, food trucks and live music. The beach will remain open after Easter to include the new Anzac Day public holiday on 27 April.
