Jennifer Ward will make history as the first mother of a fallen soldier to lead Melbourne's Anzac Day Parade to the Shrine of Remembrance. Her son Benjamin Ranaudo was killed in Afghanistan 17 years ago while serving with the Australian Army. Ward will also present the medal for best on ground at the Anzac Day AFL match, honouring her son and all fallen soldiers before 100,000 spectators.
