Dame Sarah Mullally has been enthroned as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, becoming the first woman to hold the position in the Church of England's history. The ceremony took place at Canterbury Cathedral before 2,000 attendees, including the Prince and Princess of Wales and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer. In her first sermon, she emphasised the importance of safeguarding against abuse in the Church and holding victims and survivors in prayers.
