Show Notes
Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle has intensified to a Category 4 system with wind gusts of 250 kilometres per hour, threatening Western Australia's Pilbara and Gascoyne coastlines. The massive storm has already impacted Karratha, Wickham and Dampier, with Exmouth and Carnarvon now in lockdown awaiting direct hits. Perth faces supercharged rain bands bringing up to 100 millimetres of rainfall over two days, five times the March monthly average, with flash flooding warnings in place.
