Show Notes

The Artemis 2 mission has successfully launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying four astronauts on a historic journey to orbit the moon. The crew includes pilot Victor Glover, the first Black man to orbit the moon, mission specialist Christina Koch, the first woman to travel to deep space, and Jeremy Hansen, the first Canadian for deep space exploration. The mission will see the crew travel 402,000 kilometres from Earth, completing a figure-eight trajectory around the dark side of the moon before returning to Earth after 10 days, marking humanity's first return to lunar orbit in over 50 years.
