An allegedly stolen white Audi sparked a 13-hour police pursuit across the Gold Coast, beginning when the vehicle was taken from a Highland Park home at 8:30am. The chase culminated at a Carrara service station where the alleged thief was refuelling when police approached, leading to a dramatic escape that saw the petrol pump dragged along with the vehicle. The suspect was eventually arrested in Oxenford and faces serious charges.
