山居逢歲臘，衣薄覺嚴寒。
折竹聲催聽，飛禽影斷看。
僮僕癡環戶，牛羊懶出欄。
最疑天氣極，指日轉春官。
大寒是一年的最後一個節氣，詩人面對著大雪，發現天上鳥兒們連影子都不見了，僕人們躲著不敢出門，牛羊也賴在欄柵哩，他覺得眼前的一景一物，真是充滿了詩意與美好。
這首詩最精采的地方是整首詩沒有一個雪字，可是彷彿處處都看見了雪，詩人隱居山中，真是悠然自得啊！
