Ep 1第1354期: Stay fit
Hi. My name is Mike and I'm from Canada. And this is for. The topic today is what do you do to stay thin? That's a funny question for me because I don't try and stay thin. In fact, I have a super-fast metabolism, so no matter how much I eat, no matter how many times a day I eat, I don't gain any weight. Lately, I've been on a workout program where I go to the gym as much as I can, and I eat as many times a day, and as much as I can to try and get as much food in me as possible, but the key is just not to eat as much as you can, but while you're keeping up on eating as much as you can, you have to be going to the gym on a regular basis, so that the weight that you gain, is gonna be muscle weight and not fat weight, but the thing is at the same time as eating a healthy diet, you have to take the right supplements, and especially during the summertime, it's important to drink a lot of water, so for me, the biggest challenge is drinking plenty of water a day.

Ep 1第1353期: Fast food
Hi, my name is Erina from Japan, and this is for. Today's topic is do you eat much fast food?Well, I was raised in a family that was very strict with what I eat so I wasn't really allowed to eat fast food and my parents always cooked for me, and I was very fortunate that my parents cooked for me all the time, like in the breakfast, for example, we would eat fish, rice, lots of vegetables and miso soup, and a very healthy diet, and as I grew older, I was hanging out with friends, and obviously, you know, people would go to fast-food restaurants and I would go there and, yeah, I enjoyed it, but I didn't really like it, and now because of the diet I followed for such a long time, I don't crave fast food.

Ep 1第1352期: The language you spoken
Hi, my name is Mike. I'm from Canada and I'm here from. The question today is what languages are spoken where you live?Well, I'm from Canada so obviously English and the second national language is French, although I don't come from the East Coast. I come from the other coast, the West Coast and there's not much French spoken on the West Coast. Basically, Quebec Province is the only Province in Canada that's French-speaking. Other than that there are scattered parts in Canada where people speak French, but for the most part on the West Coast besides school, which everyone is required to take French in school up until at least the age of fifteen. I took French up until I was fifteen and then I started taking Japanese because I was a little tired of French, so besides English and French those are the only two languages, and I'm sticking with English and Japanese.

Ep 1第1351期: Want to see in China
Hi, my name is Erina and I'm from Japan. This is for. Today's topic is what would you want to see in China?Well, that is a very good question because I'm Japanese and I live in Japan right now and China is such a close country but I’ve never been there which is very crazy. I have a lot of Chinese friends and we cook together and then they cook Chinese food which are very amazing, which are very I love, so I would love to go to China and go to the restaurants to see what the actual Chinese food is, because in Japan there are a lot of Chinese food restaurants, but my friends say they're not the same. The second thing I want to do in China is going and visiting the temples. I'm Buddhist and I love going to temples in Japan so I would want to go to China and see how different they are in China.

Ep 1第1350期: Serve in the army
Hi, my name is Mike. I'm from Canada and this is for. Today's topic is do young people in your country have to serve in the army.Well, I'm from Canada and people don't have to serve in the unlike countries like Singapore or for example Korea, where it is mandatory to serve for a certain period of time, for example, two years. In Canada it's optional, and the next thing that you might ask is which is better? Should you have a mandatory army or should you have where it is an optional service. I think both ways could be good. Having a mandatory service definitely instills some discipline in you and it's nice to see that discipline in a certain people from a certain country, whereas from people from a country that don't have to go the army, you can see there is a bit of a relaxation with them, which could also be looked at as a positive note, so who knows if it's better to go to the army or not, but I like having the choice myself.

Ep 1第1348期: Travel light

Actually, it was for one month, and I only took maybe about seven pieces of clothes and this is what happens, I get everything out of the closet, and I say I'm going to take this, this, this, this. Put everything in the luggage and then I realize it's very heavy, so then I start taking things out and I don't need this and I don't need that. Then, by the end, I realize, I do really like to travel light. There's nothing worse to being in a new place, carrying a bunch of heavy things. What about you? Do you like to travel light?

Ep 1第1347期: Hot climate
Hello. My name is Katia and this video is for. The question for today is have you ever had to adjust to a hot climate?Well, actually, I had to once, even though I never adjusted. It was very hot. I lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. Close to Las Vegas, there's the Death Valley. It's called Death Valley because nothing lives there. It's very hot. I even remember once, it was around twelve a.m. at night - no sun - and it was about a hundred degrees Fahrenheit - very hot. They even say If you drop an egg on the concrete, it will actually cook. What about you? Have you ever had to adjust to a hot climate?

Ep 1第1342期: Who like games
Hello! This is Tea from Vietnam, and this is for. Ok, our topic today is: Why do boys prefer video games than girls?Well, in my opinion, I don't think that this is a matter of preference. Because many video games, they are made, they are supposed to be for boys. Actually, I know a lot of girls who are hooked to video games. And once they are hooked, they are even bigger and crazier fans than boys. So if only video games makers make more games for girls, and market them, advertise them to girls, that can be a great idea of business. How about you? What is your opinion?

Ep 1第1341期: Video game
Hello, this is Paul. I'm from England. Today I'm speaking for. The question today is: Are video games too violent?I think this is a very important, difficult question to answer. My answer would be Yeah, I think a lot of video games are, nowadays are a little bit too violent. But actually, I think mainly it's the responsibility of the parents to decide whether the child should be allowed to play these video games. I think if, if the parents are good parents, and they limit the time the child play on the game, I think often it's Ok for the children to play the video game. But if, if they leave the child play the video game for 10 hours a day, then I think this gonna affect the child in a negative way. So that would be my answer. How about you? What do you think?

That's what I think. What do you think? Do you agree with me?

Ep 1第1339期: Hunting
Hello, I'm Amir from Iran and I'm speaking for. My question is: Is hunting popular where you live?Well, I lived in Tehran, the capital city of Iran, and hunting is not that popular although me and my father, I love hunting. Ten years ago, or more than that, when I was young in mid-school, we were going out hunting out to the desert, a little far from the city, you go to the desert and there are some birds that cannot fly for long distances and we were hunting those birds, shooting them with a shotgun. I love visiting, visiting the zoo, especially if it's a, if it's a big zoo and the animals have a lot of space. I think my favorite animal would be the monkey. It has to be the monkey. Hello, this is Fred from Canada for.I don't think I do nearly enough to save water. I do what I can, but I don't think it's enough. What I do, though, is, if, if I wash the dishes, I'll try to clean the dishes first, and then put the water on it after. At the same time, I try to limit the time that I take my, my shower to, you know, just to save some water, not more than 5 minutes, maybe. Then, other than that I really ... This vacation, we went to the beaches of Nha Trang in the South of Vietnam, and my boyfriend and I were among the only people to be sunbathing at the height of noon. And people there didn't think that we were Vietnamese. They think we were foreigners. So basically in Vietnam, we try to avoid the sun, not to bathe in the sun.How about you? You must have different ideas. How about your country?

Ep 1第1334期:Scuba diving
Hello, this is Fred from Canada for. Scuba diving! What do I think of scuba diving?Mm‚ What do I think of Scuba diving? I don't think anything of it. I think it's great. I think it's a great sport. I would love to do it. I never done it before. I do feel that it takes too much time and it ... Isn't it difficult to get your license? You need to have a license to scuba dive. If they could make it easier for us to do it, then I would, I would love to do it. Or maybe it's easier; I just don't know. Hello everyone. This is Buddhini for. I'm from Sri Lanka. We're gonna talk about if you always procrastinate, meaning if you always wait until the last moment to do everything.Well, the ideal question for me because - yes - unfortunately I do wait for the last moment to do many things but in a way, I think it's good because some people are very productive at the last moment and they end up doing a good job. I'm talking about reports and exams and all that but, well, it's best to do not stay for the last moment because in case you feel that you need more time to be perfect, yeah, it might be a problem. Anyways, the advice

Hi, my name is Paul. I’m speaking for. I’m from England. Today’s question is are English people different from Australian people?I think England and Australia, they have a, a lot of connections, and a lot of similarities. Because of this, the people are quite similar, obviously. We both speak English. And we have a lot of cultural things that are the same. Maybe the biggest difference between the two countries is the weather. In Australia, they have a lot of sunny weather, a lot of nice beaches. So when I was, maybe 16 years old, we went to Switzerland, and then we skied on the glaciers over there, and so with some friends who decided to put our money together, and er…rent a helicopter, and then go into the work you call the snowball, and so when we went there, the helicopter drops us on top of the mountain. And then there was nothing, there was nobody, and so we were skiing there, and on the fresh powder, I’ve never touched before. When I go far distances by car, I sometimes, to entertain myself, I speed up and I drive fast. When I get there, I look for the places that I am not familiar with, so there I can actually discover new things and know something more about myself even handling some unpredictable happenings, and that's I guess how life is once you have an adventurous spirit.Thank you.

Hello, I'm Hristo from Bulgaria, and the question is what is a wedding like in your country?Wedding in Bulgaria is pretty similar to a Western wedding, but we still have some traditional features to it, and one of the features is the religious part, which takes place in a church, and one really interesting thing is that the bride and the groom are supposed to walk around the altar, following a priest, and exchange crowns, which are symbols of power and unity at the same time. Another interesting thing is that a great deal of people, the whole family is usually present in the church, and of course everything is followed by a huge party in a restaurant or a discotheque.

Ep 1第1307期:New Year's resolutions
Hello, my name is Mike, from Canada, and this is for. The question is do you make New Year's resolutions?Well, to be perfectly honest, I only make New Year's resolutions when I know that I can keep them for sure, because if I make a New Year's resolution that I don't think I will live up to, I definitely won't make that resolution, because I don't want to be a person that breaks the resolutions he made for the New Year. That's not a very good way to start the New Year. So yes, when I do have a goal that I know I will stick to, I announce it that I will make this New Year's resolution, and I stick to that, and aside from that I just keep my mouth shut and have a good New Year's.

Ep 1第1306期:Set goal
Hello, I'm Hristo from Bulgaria, and the question is do you like to set goals for yourself? My answer is, actually, no. I don't like setting to specific goals because usually my plans change pretty often, and things often don't work the way I would like them to do. But, I know generally where I'm going and what do I want to do, which is perfectly fine. I like improvising, and that makes my life more interesting.

Ep 1第1305期:Changes
Hi, my name is Mike, from Canada, and this is for. The question is how have you changed in the last twelve months?Well, for me, I'm still the same person, but I have made a lot of changes in my life, and the biggest change perhaps is getting engaged to my girlfriend. Now, that doesn't actually change our relationship, we still have the same loving relationship we always did, but now we have a title of engagement. It's exciting, and I can't believe that it's the next step to life, but it's definitely the biggest change that has happened to me in the next, in the last twelve months.
