Standards are documents that set out specifications, procedures and guidelines that aim to ensure products, services, and systems are safe, consistent, and reliable. In the world of safety, standards ensure the quality and consistency of products and services, giving both businesses and consumers greater peace of mind. They serve to increase our health and safety and can be used to justify operations, ensuring that products, services and methods are appropriate for their intended use.
