Our first in a series of episodes where we interview former college radio DJs and staffers about their time in college radio and find out what they are doing now. In this episode, Lisa chats with Marc Arot, who was a DJ at WRFT at Temple University. Marc shares his memories of WRFT as well as clips from his archives from his time at the station.

There are certain artists that are considered to be quintessential college radio artists: R.E.M., Pixies, Sonic Youth, Juliana Hatfield, Liz Phair...the list goes on and on. But why? What's unique about these artists that endeared them to college radio? We'll explore that topic in-depth in this episode.

One of every music geek's favorite subjects is "one-hit wonders" and college radio definitely has its share. In this episode, Hosts Lisa and Michael, along with resident music guru Keith, take a look at three memorable college radio one-hit wonders from the early-mid 1990s.
