S1 Ep 10Alien Abduction Albums
You've heard of "Desert Island Discs" right? It's the game/thought experiment where you have to pick five (or ten) albums you'd take with you if you knew you were going to be stranded on a desert island. Well, we've come up with "Alien Abduction Albums". It's the same idea but the twist is that the aliens are abducting you at a particular place and time, and you can only choose albums you can grab immediately. For this episode, our hosts Michael, Keith and Scott are being abducted on their last shift at college radio station KTXT. What albums do they grab from the booth to take with them? And what albums would you take in that situation?

S1 Ep 9Does Nirvana Get Too Much Credit?
If you want a shorthand way to explain the death of hair metal and the rise of grunge (and "alternative") music in the early '90s, you simply have to say "Nirvana" and even casual music fans know what you mean. But is that really an accurate description of the massive changes that took place in the music world at that time? In this episode, Michael, Keith and Scott debate whether Nirvana gets too much credit for the 1990s musical revolution.

S1 Ep 8College Radio One-Hit Wonders Vol. 2
In this episode, we take another look at artists who had one big song take the world of college radio by storm, only to drop off the radar afterwards.

S1 Ep 7Interview with Arvell Poe - WUOG
In this episode, we reconnect with Arvell Poe, an alumni of WUOG and currently the host of The INDIE Show. Arvell is featured in 35000 Watts: The Story of College Radio, and there were so many interesting stories that didn't make it into the film, we knew we had to sit down with him again for the podcast. Tune in and listen as we dive deeper into Arvell's personal history with college radio and broadcasting.

S1 Ep 6Flawless Four Album Runs
One of the hallmarks of a great band or solo artist is the flawless four album run: four albums in a row where the quality is consistently high from the first track to the last. In this episode, Michael, Keith and new guest Scott Mobley choose their favorite four album run from their days in college radio.

S1 Ep 5Interview with Marc Arot - WRFT
Our first in a series of episodes where we interview former college radio DJs and staffers about their time in college radio and find out what they are doing now. In this episode, Lisa chats with Marc Arot, who was a DJ at WRFT at Temple University. Marc shares his memories of WRFT as well as clips from his archives from his time at the station.

S1 Ep 4What Makes a College Radio Artist?
There are certain artists that are considered to be quintessential college radio artists: R.E.M., Pixies, Sonic Youth, Juliana Hatfield, Liz Phair...the list goes on and on. But why? What's unique about these artists that endeared them to college radio? We'll explore that topic in-depth in this episode.

S1 Ep 3Soundtracks That Blew Up on College Radio
Film soundtracks in the '90s were loaded with college radio artists, often offering up a previously unreleased track or a new song created just for the film. In this episode, we dive into four of our favorite soundtracks from that era: Singles, The Crow, Pump Up the Volume and Escape From LA.

S1 Ep 2College Radio One-Hit Wonders Vol. 1
One of every music geek's favorite subjects is "one-hit wonders" and college radio definitely has its share. In this episode, Hosts Lisa and Michael, along with resident music guru Keith, take a look at three memorable college radio one-hit wonders from the early-mid 1990s.
