Pre-2018 nostalgia was on full display on Thursday as Crosby and the Penguins took on Ovechkin and the Capitals with playoff implications, and Jeff and Elliotte made sure to open this edition of 32 Thoughts talking about just that. Once the fellas took care of the newly minted "doodlebug derby" in the East, they changed their focus to the brawl on Broadway between the Rangers and Devils (12:00). That convo made way for the Martin Pospisil major penalty on Thursday night that will most likely land him another suspension (23:27). Jeff and Elliotte also discuss John Tortorella's open and honest press conference this week in Philadelphia where he laid out his method amid questions about his coaching style (25:09). The fellas then talked about the Nashville Predators who have quickly become a team no one wants to face in the Western Conference (35:00) and Jeff and Elliotte make room to discuss the latest behind the Arizona Coyotes search for a new arena (41:00). The guys then crown the Dallas Stars as the deepest team in the NHL (44:00) and round out the A block by highlighting newly minted San Jose Shark Collin Graf (50:30).
