"ภควา" คือพระนามของพระพุทธเจ้าในฐานะ "ผู้จำแนกแจกธรรม" ที่ทรงเปลี่ยนสิ่งที่เข้าใจยากให้เป็นเรื่องง่าย ผ่านคุณสมบัติผู้สอนที่เมตตาและลีลาการสอน 4 ลักษณะ คือ ชัดเจน, ชักจูง, เร้าใจ และร่าเริง อีกทั้งยังมีกลวิธีในการตอบและถามคำถามที่แยบคายและชาญฉลาด อีกทั้งการสอนที่เน้นความพอเพียง เพื่อให้ผู้ปฏิบัติตามได้รับผลอันประเสริฐและสามารถส่งต่อปัญญาแก่ผู้อื่นได้จริง
