could you我们大家都知道表示请求，比如说
Could you help me sign your name here?Please
你能帮我在这里签字吗?
通常来说你想请别人帮忙时候请请记住这个用法，而can you相比较而言则是表示的一种能力，如果是配合问句和挑逗的语气则是质疑对方能不能完成。
This project you have to finish before 5 pm, can you do that ?
这个企划你必须在5点前做完能完成吗？

我跟你妈都掉水里，你能先捞我不？（质疑你）
Could you save my life, when i fall into the river?
