Australia has one of the highest rates of scams in the world, with Aussies losing more than $323 million in 2021, with the actual number likely being much higher due to many scams going unreported.
In a bid to protect Aussies from online banking scams, CBA’s new AI technology is launching to detect unusual behaviour in banking customers’ online activity, helping to identify scammers and shutting down unauthorized activity.
