The federal government is preparing to sell the historic Victoria Barracks in Sydney’s eastern suburb of Paddington. Built in 1840, the site is widely regarded as the birthplace of the Australian Army and has stood at the centre of the nation’s military history for more than 180 years.
Acting President of the NSW RSL Vince Williams joined 2GB Afternoons to discuss the RSL's position on the federal government's push to sell the historic site.
