I think that very much hangs on what kindsof decisions we are talking about here. When it comes to personal decisionslike marriage, career, or shopping, one should have the say. Whereas if we needto make decisions for a group or a community, we must embrace collective intelligence.For example, when the NPC is going through thelegislation process, the representatives must have detailed and lengthy discussions toguarantee that all aspects of the issues are considered. So, in a nutshell, wehave to be flexible.
