Nuestros paisanos José Cernicharo, natural de Albacete descendiente de ibañeses y Juan Ramón Pardo, natural de Fuentealbilla, han descubierto un nuevo anión en el espacio, en anión C7N-. Lo han descubierto desde España, desde las instalaciones del Instituto Geográfico Nacional en Yebes con el radiotelescopio de 40 metros.
