Hello and happy Black History Month! This week we’re talking about the incredible television event that is Entergalactic from Kid Cudi. The Netflix special is also the artist’s 10th studio album and centres around an ambitious artist named Jabari who attempts to balance success and love when he falls in love with his next door neighbour. As this season of 10/10 Would Recommend draws to a close, we thought it would be churlish not to at least give a cursory nod to some of the smaller, unknown shows coming to Netflix in the last half of 2021. You've seen the trailer, right? It. Blew. Up. A beaver talking to a devil, talking to a panda over dinner - wait, what? 'Sexy Beasts' is the most nuts dating show you've ever seen in your lives. Think 'Love is Blind' meets 'The Masked Singer' and you're still only about halfway there. Originality is a rare beast nowadays, which is why we're super proud of the Fear Street trilogy, or should we say thrill-ogy! Three incredible full-length feature horror films released weekly? Crazy right? Not only that but it has interweaved characters, plot-lines and oh... starts in 1994 and ends in 1666 and is written by a master of his craft - Goosebumps creator RL Stine. He dropped by to speak to the ladies , who are so pathetic when it comes to horror, we got Alison Peirse, and actual academic expert in horror films to come and calm them down. Sweet Tooth is one of the most charming series you'll watch this year. Telling the story of Gus, a hybrid boy/deer (bear with, yeah?) and his search for his mother in the midst of a catastrophic pandemic. Exec produced by Sue Downey and her completely-unknown-unlikely-to-ever-amount-to-anything husband Robert Downey Jr, it has captured the hearts of millions - hitting the number one slot worldwide. Adeel Akhtar stars as Dr. Aditya Singh, but you will almost certainly already know him from one of the many shows lucky enough to have him, such as Killing Eve, Utopia, The Big Sick, Four Lions, The Night Manager and Back to Life. He is ubiquitous, brilliant and one of the nicest people we've ever had on the show. Adeel is speaking from a hotel room in London - whilst Tolly and Gena managed to find a room together the other side of town (albeit one with a turbine-sized air-con blowing right next to them). Nailbomber: Manhunt is an incredibly moving , shocking and powerful documentary about the 13 days that sent London into panic. Bombs in Brixton, Brick Lane and Soho devastated minority communites - before they found strength, fought back and helped police capture David Copeland, the man responsible for the atrocities. Using first-person accounts, police interview footage and incredible archive, it serves as an important bookmark in British history - one that, as Tolly and Gens discuss, has been overlooked. Joining them in this episode are Daniel Vernon, the director of Nailbomber: Manhunt and Mike Franklin - one of the people intrinsic to the capture of the bomber. 'Army of the Dead' is the huge, bombastic Zombie Heist thriller from Hollywood legend Zack Snyder. Some people throw the kitchen sink at their movies, but here, Zack has made Michael Bay look like Chloe Zao. Starring Dave Bautista, it is dripping in technicolour swagger, blood, guts and a freakin' zombie tiger. It tales a special someone to realise the epic vision of Snyder - and here, Justin Raleigh is that man. The Emmy winning sfx supremo - who's worked on Aquaman, Westworld and Suicide Squad tells Tolly and Gena just what went into making all those zombies...
