Born in Japan to a Japanese mother and African-American father, June’s journey hasn’t been easy. Growing up in Queens, New York, she faced many challenges, but her mother’s strength and wisdom taught her to rise above. By age 13, June was already reading at a college level, proving that with determination and discipline, anything is possible!
In our interview, June shares how her experiences, from overcoming discrimination to serving in the Air Force, shaped her into the leader she is today. She believes in focusing on the good and making the world a better place.
