Travel bans are not helping already pandemic decimated airlines. But neither is the fear of the dreaded middle seat and fully booked flights. Airlines can't break even if they keep a third of their cabin seats empty and they say a mask and washing your hands should be enough on planes where social distancing is just not possible.
